Silent Seminars has been recognised through the Event Technology Awards, International Confex and ESSA, celebrating our work in wireless audio technology, exhibition technology and our wider contribution to the events industry. The Event Technology Awards have recognised Silent Seminars for both Best Use of Wireless Technology and Best Exhibition Technology.
These awards are particularly significant because they recognise the technology at the heart of what we do and, more importantly, how it is being used to solve real challenges for event organisers.
Wireless audio can completely change the way an event space works. Multiple sessions can run alongside one another without competing sound, open exhibition floors can accommodate more content, and delegates can focus on the session they have chosen without the distractions of a busy environment.
For us, being recognised in these categories reinforces our belief that event technology should do more than simply work. It should give organisers greater flexibility while making the experience better for the people attending.

The International Confex Contribution to the Industry Award, presented to Silent Seminars Founder and Director Duncan Strain, means something different. Rather than recognising a particular product or event, it acknowledges the wider contribution made to the events industry and the people who help shape it.
For a business that has spent years working alongside organisers, venues, production teams and suppliers, that recognition is especially meaningful. Silent Seminars has grown from solving a straightforward problem, how to deliver clear audio in busy event environments, into a specialist provider supporting increasingly complex conferences, exhibitions and live experiences both within the UK, and around the world.
It's recognition not just of where the business is today, but of the relationships, ideas and experience that have helped get it there since being founded alongside sister company, Silent Noize Events, in 2010.

ESSA: Recognising the People Behind the Scenes
Not every important contribution happens in front of an audience. The ESSA Unsung Hero Award, presented to Craig Cattell, recognises exactly that. Craig plays a crucial role behind the scenes, preparing, maintaining, packing and managing the thousands of headsets that need to be ready for events across the UK and internationally.
It is the kind of work that audiences rarely see, but without it, the technology simply wouldn't be ready when the doors open.
For Silent Seminars, this award is particularly important because it recognises something we value enormously: great event technology depends on great people. Reliability isn't just about the equipment. It's about the care, preparation and attention to detail that goes into every event.
Recognition Is Only the Beginning
We don't see these awards as a finish line. They're recognition of what we've achieved so far, but they also set a standard for where we want to go next.
Our focus remains on developing wireless event audio that is clearer, more flexible, accessible and sustainable, while continuing to expand the ways our technology can be used across conferences, exhibitions, education and live events.
From supporting delegates with hearing requirements and neurodivergent attendees to enabling multilingual content and helping organisers make better use of event spaces, we're continuing to explore what wireless audio can do beyond simply delivering sound.
Our ambition is simple: to help people hear clearly, engage fully and experience better events, without unnecessary barriers. That is ultimately what the awards represent. Not just recognition for what Silent Seminars has already achieved, but motivation to keep improving what comes next.
