Silent Seminars/Silent Noize are recruiting for an exciting new role to support the ongoing development and growth of our business. This role is ideal for you if you are currently working in an entry-mid new business role, selling to the event industry and want to take the next step in your career. You'll be working in a small team within an ambitious business where you can really make a difference. You need to be confident making outbound sales calls and thrive at networking at industry events. No prior knowledge of audio/headphones is required, we will teach you everything you need to know. 


Job Description:

As Sales and Account Executive you will support the delivery of the sales strategy through client outreach and account management. You will actively be involved in reaching out to new clients, developing new relationships and then actively growing the accounts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responding to internal new business enquiries including client meetings and quoting.  

  • Account management for key business accounts with a specific focus on growing revenues with these accounts. 

  • Generating new business through proactive sales outreach following the sales plan. 

  • Pipeline management, following up with active enquiries and dormant accounts. 

  • Representing the business at industry events with involvement in lead generation, post event follow up and ROI tracking. 

Role Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in a new business sales role within the Events Industry

  • Experience using a CRM system such as Zendesk is desirable.

  • A driving license is required and own car is desirable to enable meeting clients.

  • Willingness to travel to spend time in the office weekly and to visit clients and attend industry events

  • Fluency in spoken and written English

The package includes a salary band which will be subject to experience and a structured new business commission model. 

Location:

Remote working is available for this role. Many industry events take place in London therefore being based close to the Capital is a positive. 

Onboarding will take place in our offices in Stirchley, Birmingham and will require 3 days in the office. Generally 1 day per week in person working in Stirchley is required.
